Age Comes Upon My Body
Like A Flood Seeping Into The Land
Filling My Skin With Time Passing
I Realise That Even I Cannot
Reverse This Progression of Decay
A Warmth Fills My Heart, Am I Old
Yet When Will I Be Old, I Am No
Longer As Beautiful and yet
yet I am so much more beautiful
than i ever was.  I am just another
person in this great world, yet to
the ones i love i am everything
i am the sun moon and stars
to my family and friends i am
someone they want to be like
someone they trust their hearts to
someone in whom is the richness of
love and a life lived together.
Aging doesn't dim me it only gives me
a golden glow that makes me more than i was
I look forward to growing older
I am no longer a dumb pretty vain girl
my soul runs deep like the river now.
