Strength Comes To Us When We're Very Afraid
Lotus Flower, Waterlilies Blooming into themselves
And Drawing themselves into themselves
like a beating heart
strength of heart comes to us in our times of greatest need
it is not without magic, it is not without fears
and in the meekest and humblest it usually appears
Strength of heart will keep thee Alive Through Twilight Nights
And Desert Days when One Wanders Unheard For Years
Longing and Lonely and Frightened And Odd
Strength of heart is a gift From The Gods
You Could Call it The Holy Spirit Working Within Us
It Is When One Is Moved To Perform Great Acts
And Choices That Seem Ordinary But Which Require
Extraordinary Courage.
Strength of heart is born of Courage.
It Cannot Be Moved not Shattered
it cannot be explained it is hope in the night
to look outside of oneself and love one another
these are the things that make us Truly Human
