"Ran Away"
And So, We Ran Away from the suffering
and the hunger and the loss and fear and pain
all the homeless people were full for just a moment
and the little birds were in and warm and singing
heaven was a star piercing the darnkess that you could just touch
reach up and dream to, and that star would keep your deepest secret
and it prayed we would live happily ever after
i was so grateful for a full belly thank you
i cannot explain how wonderful it is to go out
out into the snow and run away like that
like there werent hungry people for a minute
we let our burdens fall, grateful for a feast
and grateful for one another, and i hope
that i remember that night for the rest of my life
