When I was a Child
My Parents
 Had Money.  They didn't know
how
it feels
to be
HUNGRY.  But now,
now,
very,very
now----I KNOW
what it is
to be completely
alone.///////
We were in that restaraunt
physically, but
our hearts
were NOT there.
We were at home
still, holding one another
in bed.  I looked at him
in my sleepy clumsy way,
and slipped our wedding ring
upon his finger.  it fit
with ease, and he yelled
at me
and jerked back
his hand
like he was lost somewhere,
or something.////
