"The Missionary Of Jesus Christ, 1498"
I will tell You A Story.
Once Upon Five Hundred
Years Ago, There Was A Great Man
Named Xavier.  He Was Portuguese,
and he was a preist
and a Sea Captain
in 1498.  He sailed ships
an Explorer
when the world was young, he left
Portugal, his
home,
and sailed a Sailing Ship
Down the Atlantic,
Alongside the coast of Africa,
Around the Cape of "Good Hope"
(Which was the terrible and dangerous sailing passage
to India.  He Had Discovered
The Famous "Passage To India"
that the Europeans so dearly prized and
praised.  1498.
What you don't know
is that he discovered Japan.
Noone in the Western world
Knew Japan
Existed
he landed there
by
mistake!  Some group
of pagan
islands, and now
Now i will tell you
Why
he had Come
all the Way
Across the World
By the cotton Wings of
a Wooden Sailing Ship
Fragile as his dream.  HE HAD COME
To SAVE THE SOULS of the heathens
in All The World-- to ensure
that every little child
in the East
and every other person
wouldn't Go To Hell
and burn forever
when they died--- simply
because they didn't
know the salvation
of Jesus
Christ.
If you do not think it is a heroic thing,
to cross the world on a blossom of a vessel
to land in the jagged paciic
purely with the DREAM
Of SAVING THEIR SOULS
FRom eternal damnation
that the heathen
didn't deserve!  I tell you this,
I Bet Jesus Christ Himself
Was
With Him.  He Discovered Japan
What a fragile and brave and beautiful dream!
No money, nor merchant, no guns, only
Jesus Christ and the Bible.  That is what he wanted
the eastern people
to know
and realise
that there WAS A JESUS CHRIST
Can you imagine what a gentle soul
Xavier was, to travel the world,
discover JApam--- and how BRAVE?
almost godlike courage, certainly angelic
faith and courage, intelligence
and heroism.  So,
in closing, he
DID
discover Japan.
And He DID
Bring Christianity to JApan
Others brought guns, but One Japanese King
Became a Christian Preist
and abdicated his throne
while mandating that all his kingdom
recieve Christianity
as a higher level
of buddhism.  For Christianity in no way
disagrees
With Dear Buddhism.  It agrees with their religion
completely, and japan was buddhist and ancestor worship
back then.  So, Dear Master Xavier, our Hero,
Baptised Soul after Soul
and he made
three consecutive voyages to japan
leaving his converts in charge
of the christians converts and a best-efforted translation
of the book of matthew, translated into
Japanese by his friends.  They didn't even
know
japan existed.  How did Master Xavier Teach Them
About Jesus Christ?  It is said he had
The "Gift of Tongues"
by the holy spirit, which aided him greatly in
understanding them.
He died on an island.
And his soul went to heaven.
He is in Gold Etched in my imagination
and heart, for it thoucheth my heart
that a Preist
shouyld go to such effort
to save the souls of anyone he could.
Is this not saintly?
In Jesus' Name,
Amen.
