Today I found our love letters
Birthdays, anniversaries, Valentine's Days
I found your cards over the years
Our Love Letters To One Another
The years go by and in those years,
we begin growing old and youth fades
but our arms are just around one another
and we don't need anything more
we are our own mother and father
we are taking care of ourselves
and in our arms we hold one another
so closely there is no evil that can come
into this poor pitiful beautiful house
and the police burst in the door
every single year that passed
and we always got by somehow
Today I found our love letters

This precious tender little life is sacred
I wouldn't exchange it for a single thing
the police harrass us periodically
i guess they do that to everyone
but it doesn't matter as i am reading
