Darken the earth until Father Sun
Comes back around to our side of the globe
Brood and threaten and cause fear and cold
Oh darkness terrible, thee dost cool the earth
that the sun should not burn it to death
yet singing are the stars in your seas,
your heaven, oh infinity horrible,
if it were not for the stars, i'd fear thee!
