In reply to silence a yellow umbrella
When i look at you i see
Sympathy foremost
And then
A sense of loss
Like blood
Red blood leaving my heart
I fear
Fear death
Also
I fear the great king
He who must not be named
So fearing death and kings and loss
Of poetry, I declare
You my kindred
Spirit. So in
Reply, I have
An umbrella
In our fears you
You can join me
Hiding
Safe and warm
From the world. Hide here
Under my banana yellow
Umbrella of my dreams
Hopes and fears we share.
Its raining, raining...
Amen

Know You are loved
If I could give everyone a gift
It would be
The realization, in ones
Time of doubt and despair, that
That you are loved
And god loves you infinitely
So don't give up
On your life, because
Knowing
You are
Loved
Can save your life.
Know you are loved.
Amen.

Solitude is true freedom
When I am alone
I am never lonely
I prefer solitude
The shadows of my own face
The burning light within my heart
My own beautiful mind
Myself and my soul
I prefer solitude
Introvert sensitive I am
I would be happy
On a desert island, except
I love my husband
Solitude is bliss
I am my own strength
Empowered.

Its just the fear of being alone
Loneliness is an ache
One grows used to
Like a needle
In the vein is the pang
Of loneliness sharp calm
Sobering to realize one is
Finally and literally, completely
Alone. I get pangs of loneliness
And cold fear rises in the
Back of my neck for instants
But
I'm too brave to feel it for long
I shake it off and keep working
I am Like Laura croft in tomb raider
I'm too brave to feel loneliness
It's simply the fear of being alone
I am not a fearful person
Courage is my closest companion.
Never alone
In Jesus name, amen.

Hope frivolous, lost
Dying isn't the question
Nor the problem a sadness
Rises madly in my heart like
An ocean wave capsized
By gravity and the stars
I would give it all to write
Again.

“The Colors of Fire”
I saw the Colors of Fire
It is Red and White and Orange
It Burneth the Dead Twigs And Sticks
And transformeth them
Into ashes. Fire is calm and kind.
It is a Force, a Power, a Gift,
That Prometheus Died To
Give To Humankind
Oh Burn Bright, Red Fire!
Burn Bright and True
Fire of God’s Light, we
Believe
In You!
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen
“My Grandmother taught me Fire And Water”
My Grandmother Taught Me Fire and Water
She awoke something in me,
Something that I lacked
A Love for an Art Man Has All But Lost
Yet Which is There
All The Same!
My Grandmother
Taught me
Fire
And
Water
Fire And Water, Earth and Wind—
They Will be my companions, now,
So long as I do not
Forget them
If I forget them
I will lose them
But I have not
Forgotten
And I remember the
Memories
Of my
Childhood!
Amen.
“I Hope They Come, Lord.”
I hope the birds come, Lord.
I hope they bathe in the Water
And drink the Water
I hope they eat the seed in the feeder
I hope birds
And insects
And animals come
Come, and know
That
They
Are
Safe, and that
There is Hope
For All Living
Beings.
Amen.
“Learning To be Free”
Can you set yourself free?
Life is real and beautiful.
The Colors of Fire are The Rainbow.
My Grandmother taught me
Water
And
Fire. Now I am Learning----////
“Earth, Wind, Water, and Fire”
There Are Four Elements:
1 Earth
2 Wind
3 Water
4 Fire
These elements are Forces---
They have always been
And they always will be
They are good
//humans are so confused because
They
Fear
The natural
World!
“Oh Ye Of So Little Faith,
Why Didst The Not Believe?”-Jesus
Amen.////
If thee wish a wish
Wish it with all thy heart—
And nurture it with prayers
And feed it with fears
And water it with Hopes,--
All day all night in thy heart,
No one knows
It’s there
And yet
It Glows! Oh, What a Light
Is this!
Wishes can come true
They don’t always do;----
But wishing
Mustn’t it
Do
Something?
Anything? Mustn’t There Be
Power
In a Prayer?
And so as I prayed the Lord Would
Deliver Me—
He did. And i
Am not even lost!//
Amen.
“There is Joy”
There is Yet Joy.
There is yet hope.
The world cannot take it.
Love Bloometh
Love Bloometh
In the meanest sidewalk cracks
And the darkest of lonely houses
In a lonely house
Lord, there is
Yet Joy
There is Yet Hope.
In a Lonely House
Where Love Bloometh Not,
Still, yet,
Life
And
hope
must
go
on.
The memory of Joy of Love
Will keep thee warm so long
Yea, even through the darkest night!//
“In between is Life”
In Between is this my wonderful life;
And looking back I’m so grateful
To God.
Amen.
“Conclusions”
Time Goes By…
Loneliness Seeps in
Unanswered phone calls
The days go by and you
Realize that you are
Or may be—
Completely alone
With no point
And nothing
Time Passes…
There’s nothing to become
Nothing to do…
Sadness seeps in you wonder
Why
You are suffering
But
There doesn’t seem to be
A reason for your pain
It just is, that’s all
No one to know
No one to blame
Nothing to do
Nowhere to go
Nothing left, at All.//
In Jesus’ Name,
//And So, I Went Walking
Lost to time’s Sanctuary
Sea Waves Beating a grey shore
More Good, no evil there
Love is in these ebb-tides
Love and Eternity
--I could have stayed there
Forever. In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.//
“In my Loneliest Hours”
In my loneliest hours
When pain and fear are seeping in,
I cling to hope and
Endure.
When I fear I cannot take the
Pain any longer, I yet dig deep and
Survive.
I think of Theodore. He is my everything
All that I have left
Lord I could not go on
Without
Him! If it weren’t
For him I wouldn’t
Be here, lord
Knows
I Love Him.
In my loneliest hours Jesus comes
‘a-whistlin’
Almost as though
Nothing were wrong!
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.
