"Love Poem To Theodore"
I Would Cross The Deepest Ocean
To Be With You Theodore
I Would Wait A Hundred Years
To Be With You Theodore
I Would Steal You All The Toys In China
If It Would Make You Smile
If Only For A Little While, I might
Put thy aching heart to rest
I'll always give thee all my best
and where I fall short of thy dreams
I will paint my eyes to thee to seem
as perfect as I have ever appeared
In Thee, My Soul, My Life, endeared
And Should We Face An Early Doom
I'll Lay Me Down By The In Yonder Tomb
That beauty eternal, except for thee never
Was such a darling shining star as thee, ever!
And Should mayhap it bring thee a smile
We'll Cuddle Warm and We'll Sleep Awhile
We'll Cuddle till our lives are aged spent through;
Then Wake in death, To The Dream, Of You!
Love,
Caroline
