Pink Roses
Pretty and made of cloth
Pretty Pink Handmade Roses
Or Porcelain Roses,
 remnants of a table ornament
Look at all the roses
roses painted by hand
in watercolor on the wall
roses in the blush of my lips,
 ever pouting
Pink rouge and powder so soft
soft as talc or some soft balm
soothing to the touch
Sunlight streaming light
into the large airy room,
translucent lace curtains
hiding the lazy sunshine
soft pillows and an easy chair
resting and drinking hot tea
hot steaming mug of tea for me
i'll wrap my fingers around it gratefully
the day will slowly pass by
I will slowly grow old
life is so precious!
