Time Passes and you age
comes to know suffering
comes to know jesus and pain
comes to hope for salvation
when one is beaten and defaced
tortured crucified drugged committed
patronized beaten, laughed at,
 turned the other cheek
fat and old i stand but alive
i am not young any more
i am geting old
i am so much wiser than i was then
i know humility and suffering
i know how to get on my knees
and worship God and serve him
Beautifully Broken, i would rather
be the me i am today, the wiser, the kinder,
than who i was then i was lost then
i have seen your man of stone
i am a friend i God Himself
i am getting older every day
this is the story of learning to
be truly human, truly alive.
