"Ghost City"
I Live in a ghost city
that never changes
the people come
into my life
and leave it
i always think they
are with me forever
but they always fade
away and die and there is
nothing for me now
except the ruins of this
ghost city.//all of my friends
are married and moved
far away, and my hearts
desire is dead and in
the grave, and i am
the only one who still
lives in our hometown.
The architecture of the city
remains.  it outlives the people.
the people are all gone
i will never see them again
i am still here
in this ghost city
even the people i know now
what few are left
will all fade away too
and finally i will fade
away in this ghost city.
