"China Trees"
The China Trees are all abloom in flowers
clusters of lacy white blossoms so light and fluffy
endless blossoms heavy-laden the china trees
Azaleas pink and fuschia are joyfully inviting butterflies
Emily and  me rock in a hammock, talking about fairies
and where to find them, and all childlike and lovely things
Enjoying the sunshine making our cheeks rosy and pink
in the Saturday afternoon, we laugh and giggle as we open boxes
of porcelain easter teasets and teapots, decorations
ducklings and all sort of easter baskets and porcelain eggs and rabbits
Meanwhile the China Trees Are Blooming Over our heads
