"Breathless"
Breathless, We Arrive At Target, Glorious
Two Glorious Women Beautiful in our Independence
And our different and individual strength, we are best friends
We are two ladies come to seek for cleaning products
yogurt and bread, and we giggle as we muse about how
is precisely the most effective ways to clean a house
buying dryer sheets and detergent for clothes
choosing comet and Dawn dish soap and even,
even a toilet brush, is welcome in our buggy
these little womanly things, they are important
and the purchasing of them has a purpose because
we then separate and go home, and we clean
scrubbing merrily away at grime and dust, happily
because we love one another, we love our husbands
and so we delight in sharing the domestic chores
of womanhood, and giggling breathless among
the shelves of cleaning chemicals, we share beaming joy
because we are each loved by our husbands
and this events truly does satisfy our souls.
Breathless!
