At First Sight This May Not Appear
To Many To Be A Particularly
Special Tea Pot, yet to me it is
My Life Blood.  Years Gone By
My Tea Pot Has Always Been By My Side
In Good Times And Oh, How Often in
Horrible Times Alike, My Resilient
Little Tea Pot Has Weathered Many Storms
But More So!  It Keeps Me Alive and Sane
Where Would I Be Without My Tea Pot
It is a source of Endless Strength in Hot Tea
Ever Burbling Fountain of Hot Fresh Tea
Just For Me, And If I Pour You A Cup Of Tea
From My Personal Teapot, Then You Are
A Very Important Person To Me.  White.
It is white porcelain, simple and chaste in design,
yet
It might as well be a genie's lamp in hard times
in my hour of need, I Pour Myself, Wearily,
A Fresh Cup Of Tea.  And Every Once In
A While, I Run It Through The Dishwasher!
This is, Verily and Truly, A Great Tea Pot
So many times is has Saved My Life, amazing
that something so ordinary at first sight should have
such a remarkable and beautiful impact on my life.

"Breathless"
Breathless, We Arrive At Target, Glorious
Two Glorious Women Beautiful in our Independence
And our different and individual strength, we are best friends
We are two ladies come to seek for cleaning products
yogurt and bread, and we giggle as we muse about how
is precisely the most effective ways to clean a house
buying dryer sheets and detergent for clothes
choosing comet and Dawn dish soap and even,
even a toilet brush, is welcome in our buggy
these little womanly things, they are important
and the purchasing of them has a purpose because
we then separate and go home, and we clean
scrubbing merrily away at grime and dust, happily
because we love one another, we love our husbands
and so we delight in sharing the domestic chores
of womanhood, and giggling breathless among
the shelves of cleaning chemicals, we share beaming joy
because we are each loved by our husbands
and this events truly does satisfy our souls.

Some Lacy White Little Clusters of Blossoms scattered in a field
Spanned on elegant beams from a central axis

Taking me back itno the days when the meadow
Was A Sea And The Oats Cascaded Down and up
Dancing In The Wind How I Long For That Meadow
The Wild Flowers And Queen Anne's Lace Tousled

"Beautiful"
I was tired and you held me
I was tired forever and it showed
Age seeps in denying my youth the vigor
i seem to watch it fade in paralysed horror
hoping and hoping, that I will look better tomorrow
today i tried caking and drawing makeup all over my face
i looked quite young and quite beautiful but it was a mask
i would rather be the me i am underneath, than
wear a mask to hide my face beauty is an art
there is so much more to it than makeup
i feel most beautiful when i am in my husband's arms
or on those late four am nights i look in the mirror and smile
i feel more beautiful without makeup
i don't know why but i want to be myself
my soul is deep and beautiful, etched into my skin
character and wisdom underneath my eyes
i feel most beautiful wearing absolutely nothing
just a nightgown, with my hair pulled back into a tight bun
this is the way i really am
this is the woman my husband is in love with, me
this is aging gracefully
i feel more beautiful without makeup

"Opportunities And Delights"
There are so many so very pleasant Ways
That Hope Manifests itself in each of our daily lives
Each inbreath, each heartbeat, each meal and good health
that is hope and there is so much more opportunities
opportunities to do good, opportunities to Pray and
Serve God and Praise God and there is so much more delight
to delight in the physical and natural world just as it is
to delight in things like the passing of the sun
or the ripening of fruit and flowers or the delectable
taste of a tart berry squashing in one's mouth delight
delight in the big things and in the smallest things
if you can learn to feel delight in God's Simple Pleasures
Without Indulging Gluttonously, if You Can Discern
Between What You Need and What You just Don't Need
And Everything You Want is not Everything you need
But above all, delight!  Life is delightful simply, as it is!

"Hope"
Hope is A Beautiful, Steadfast Thing
Glorious in even the tiniest of existence,
The Prey Escapes The Predator
The Unearthed seed falls on good soil
The neglected are cared for
The unloved are loved
Someone holds the door open for you
or tells you you look pretty
especially when it's a bad day
there are infinite ways that God's Hope
That Hope Itself
Is Manifesting Itself Within the Universe
It Never Ends.  This life is not a vicious cycle
in fact, all life is worth living
and all life is worth preserving
and there is nothing too small to save
and there is no cost too high for a life
any life so do not take lives
that is the devil that living things
must eat one another to stay alive
yet life is worth living and love
love is worth loving and life is a Joy
and it is all worth it in the end,
all the beautiful difficult things you do
no act of kindness is in vain
no love could ever be wrong
hope is born of rebirth in the Phoenix
which dies and scatters many seeds
and is yet reborn even more beautiful
than before! Though We Die, Yet We Live.
Live So That Others May Live.
Live For The Ones Around You
Be Conscious of Others around you
Exist to fulfill dreams prayers and needs
of others, and thee shalt count among

we are just happy to be girls
when i tried on the dress for you
you got the most beautiful look on your face
because i looked so beautiful it was shocking
and i've never really bought an evening gown before
so careless we pay at the discount boutique and run
and eat a chicken sandwich in halves and

"Dandelion Heart"
Hope is ever being reborn and sown by God
The Seeds that scatter and fly free on the wind
even a movie star's life, could it be as glamorous
as a dandelion seed that blows from its orb and flies
flies, through the skies, lands in a hopeful place,
puts a little root through the ground, and a seedling,
and grows and grows green leaves and eventually blooms
a lionhearted yellow blossom, which becomes a puffball of dreams
and these dreams fly away, to create seedlings of their own
that will in turn become dragonhearted dandelions. wild
and free?  God so clothes the grass of the field, and so
we must have hope like a dandelion seed, at whatever
point in our life that we are, can you see yet that,
that we are, like dandelions, all a part of
of a bigger scheme of things, of
something bigger than us?

"Your Hope"
You May Feel Like You're Beyond Hope
You may feel hopelessly out of reach
It is the daily tenacity to persevere
in spite of hardship and hard weather
this perseverance keeps oneself alive
you must find something worth living for
something nobody else sees, perhaps, or
something you see particularly clearly, or
something you do that you love, or
some one that you love that needs you, and
you must make certain you are willing
to fight for it, and then throw yourself
into the cause.  your principles will
keep you alive through the icy sleet and wind
you will grow humbly and beautifully
tenaciously, a little bit every day, believing
in your purpose and doing something for
it every day, for all the things you believe in
like the winter greens that grow in the dirt and ice
of the dead of winter.  Find a Cause.

I go out into the Garden
And Peer Deep into the ground
Tiny winter greens are growing
 in the freezing weather outside
I admire the winter greens' tenacity

In spite of hardship and suffering,

I sit in the garden with JEsus
It is a cold windy day
It is the beginning of March
Suddenly a winged maple seed
flies up and lands into my planter
I look around.  There are many others
laying in the soil of the planters
I water the garden, and push the seeds
deeper into the wet soil, with the
Hope that they might grow
Miracles like these, daily acts of hope
God sows in the earth, his garden,
and so often we fail to notice
these small but significant
acts of God in prayer, God's
Simple, small, yet monumental
Acts of Hope.

"Freedom to Create"
I like the perfect Freedom of Writing Poetry
When One Is able to use the craft well
Because of majoring in English in college
I feel qualified to take advantage of
my creative freedom.  writing poetry
is like ice skating or watercolor painting,
you just run your skates or brush along the surface,
going wherever your pretty little heart leads you!
I find true liquidity in my will, true freedom,
true joy in writing poetry.  it is a liberating
release and control, abandon and discipline,
beautifully moulded into a cohesive structure
every day...a poem.  Poets are truly free

When I Cannot take the pain anymore,
I don't give up.
I Pray To Jesus Christ
With all my heart
And All Of My Soul
And HE Comforts me, Jesus does
Jesus keeps me sane
i'm so grateful for all those hours
spent listening to matthew, mark, luke and john
I listened to them over and over, thinking,
"Lord, Maybe I will need This Some Day"
and "You Don't Need This Jesus, But
I Do.  I need you Jesus.  Teach me your
Ways and i learned all of his parables
sometimes they didn't come clear at first but when
i listened and opened my heart with a little faith,
i can see through every single Word Jesus Says.
I Have faith in jesus.  i also have a wonderful husband
Theodore Land, who wants to spend the rest of his life
with me by his side...and what would he do, the homeless child,
if anything ever happened to me?  Sweet Lord Jesus, I
Believe in you...i believe, in a better way.
i believe in you Jesus that's why i'm still alive.

"Grey Waves"
The Time I Feel Most Happy In My Sleeping Dreams
Is When I Run Down My Doorsteps To The Sea
MY Favorite thing in all my dreams are the crashing waves
that beat like my breathing in...out....in and crash onto
the grey shore with an awesome majesty and magnificence
i watch the salt spray of the waves they are wild and tumbling
like God's love for me and that is how i talk to god in my dreams
When he is thinking about me i find i am at my front steps
standing on the beach, praying to the waves
there is something infinite and timeless about those waves
it is usually nightime, the stars are in the sky and i know
that anything i tell the sea, it will keep all my secrets
even the deepest ones if i have any and it is my god
i can feel the sand rubbing under the pads of my feet
and i usually wake up when i reach the sea
i wake up, and God Is Right There, talking to me
in my living life, and he says good morning as i
get out of bed and stretch and warm up my hot tea.

"Heaven"
In My Sleeping Dreams I Live On James Island
I Own my Very Own 14 Bedroom Beach House
The Backyard Is a marsh filled with hungry crocodiles
But The Front Door Opens To Stepping stones that lead to the sea
I always run down to the sea blue grey waves beating the sand
I have a fishing pole and nets and my family lives with me
and together we catch ocean creatures tropical fish and sharks
all kinds of whales dolphins and mermaids i can wade into the sea
and swim underwater without holding my breath like a mermaid
We drive to town and shop at little boutiques full of jewelry and makeup
Fancy Clothes and Delicious foods it's Charleston then i go home
to my fourteen bedroom house with my family and play by the sea
The Time I feel most happy is when im looking at the waves

"Sea Frog"
In My Dreams I've Collected A Frog From The Sea
I Keep it in a bottle dead with a starfish and seawater
In my dreams i was looking at my dead sea frog and
I wished with all my heart that it was still alive and suddenly
its mouth opened and it blinked and swam i went to grab the bottle
but my sea frog climbed out of the bottle and became a sea bird
and the bird flew and perched on a tall grandfather clock
i ran down the steps of my seashore house to the ocean
to fill a fishbowl with sea water but i was interrupted by killer whales
i told them i had to get back to my froggy but then i woke up
